Disability Insurance (DI)
Disability Insurance (DI) is almost less fun to think about than life insurance. With DI, you can only collect when you aren’t able to work. The only thing worse than being too sick or injured to work so that you can collect your DI payments, is being too sick or injured to work and having no DI insurance to cover your family’s expenses!

DI is an important protection for you and yours. When something happens that keeps you from working, your monthly expenses don’t stop. DI keeps money coming in on a monthly basis. You can use it for anything that you and your family want, mortgage payments, groceries, gasoline, or a flat screen TV.

There are many ways to set up your DI, so that it meets your personal needs. You can choose how long you are disabled before the money starts rolling in, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, etc. You also choose how long the payments keep coming, two years, five years, etc! Oh yes, you have to be disabled all that time, or the payments stop. Of course, the better the benefits, the higher the premium. You knew that, didn’t you?
