Employers with 100 or more employees are required by the Affordable Care Act to provide Health Insurance in 2015. Those with 50 or more employees must provide coverage in 2016.

There is a huge variety of ways to meet this government mandate, from the least expensive form of compliance to a richer plan.

Who pays how much of the premium? There are many ways to divide what portion of the premium the business pays and what portion the employee pays. Maybe the business pays for the employees and they pay for their family members. Or the business puts money into a Health Savings Account (HSA)! It can be set up in lots of different ways.
